Biographical Information[edit]
Bob Buchanan pitched two seasons in the majors, going 1-0, 8.44 in 14 games for the Cincinnati Reds in 1985, and 0-0, 16.20 in 2 games for the Kansas City Royals in 1989. All of his appearances were in relief.
His minor league career lasted from 1979 to 1992 and included ten seasons at AAA. He also played in the minors for the New York Mets, Toronto Blue Jays and Houston Astros, moving from team to team as a free agent. Overall, he went 77-80 in 433 minor league games with a 3.70 ERA.
