Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Bob Bresnen played in the minor leagues in 1979 and 1980.
He was taken by the Detroit Tigers in the 27th round of the 1979 amateur draft, the same round as pitchers Dave Smith and Bert Bradley.
He went 0-1 with a 3.15 ERA in 12 relief appearances for the Lakeland Tigers in 1979. Between the Rocky Mount Pines and Macon Peaches in 1980, he went 3-11 with a 4.64 ERA in 33 games (15 starts). Overall, he was 3-12 with a 4.44 ERA in 45 games (15 starts).
