Biographical Information[edit]
First baseman/outfielder Bob Beall saw time in parts of four seasons, primarily coming off the bench as a pinch hitter. He saw time in 108 of his 148 career games with the 1978 Atlanta Braves, batting .243 with his lone big league homer, a pinch-hit blast off Silvio Martinez of the St. Louis Cardinals, that August 24. After a brief stint with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1980, he retired and took a job in Hillsboro, OR with Nike.
