Biographical Information

Bob Bass served as head coach at Oklahoma Baptist University from 1950 to 1965, going 192-107.

He was more well-known in basketball circles, leading the Oklahoma Baptist team through most of the 1950s an 1960s, then heading to the American Basketball Association to coach the Denver Rockets. He returned to the college ranks from 1969 to 1971 at Texas Tech, the again went to the ABA with The Floridians, Memphis Tams and San Antonio Spurs. He then became a basketball executive, winning two NBA Executive of the Year honors.
