Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Bo Ivy played in the Chicago White Sox system from 2000 to 2003. He was taken by the club in the 6th round of the 2000 amateur draft, a few picks after pitcher Scott Dohmann and a few ahead of Taylor Buchholz. With the AZL White Sox his first year, he hit .341/.473/.403 with 34 steals, 34 walks and 35 runs scored in 36 games. His average fell to .199 in 2001, though he still stole 18 bases. He hit .272 with 15 swipes and a .407 on-base percentage in 2002 and .177 with 11 steals in 2003. Overall, he batted .247/.373/.293 with 1 home run, 44 RBI, 78 stolen bases, 107 walks and 113 runs scored in 191 games over four seasons. He peaked at Single-A.
