Biographical Information

Billy Otterson played in 30 games for the Brooklyn Grays in 1887 between September 4th and October 10th. All of his games were at shortstop. The regular shortstop for the team, Germany Smith, appeared in 103 games and came back the following year to appear in 103 more for the team.

Otterson also played around a decade in the minors, moving from league to league.

He is listed at 124 lbs., quite a bit under the weight of the other Brooklyn infielders.
