Biographical Information[edit]
Billy McCool won the The Sporting News Rookie of the Year Award as the top rookie pitcher in the National League in 1964. At age 19, he went 6-5 with a 2.42 ERA and 7 saves in 40 games for the Cincinnati Reds that season.
