Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Billy Boner played in the St. Louis Cardinals system in 1956 and 1957, hitting .230 with 70 hits in 109 games. He was well-traveled in his two years with the organization, spending time with 5 different clubs, and two stints with the Albany Cardinals. Though he didn't hit well overall, in his 34-game stay with the Dothan Cardinals, he batted .326/.412/.506 with 4 home runs and 14 RBI.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1960.
