Bill Schardt's line for 1915 as a pitcher for Indianapolis of the American Association shows he had 22 losses alongside his 21 wins. However, this may be incorrect. According to Reddick and Roger's comprehensive record book devoted to the Indians, Schardt had 11 losses and a winning percentage of .656. It is likely that Reddick and Rogers have it right as suggested by the winning percentage listed in Marshall Wright's American Association roster book.
