Bill Popp

Biographical Information[edit]

Bill Popp was a college coach.

A left-hander, Popp led the Georgia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in saves in 1990. From 1994-2003, he was head coach of Oglethorpe University. In 2002, he was named Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. In 2005, he started the baseball program as coach at Reinhardt College and led it until 2011, when he moved to full-time athletic director at Reinhardt.
