Biographical Information[edit]

The major league career of outfielder Bill Otis consisted of just four games with the 1912 New York Highlanders. He only got one hit in his brief career, but it happened to be off future Hall of Famer Walter Johnson.

At the time of his death in 1990, Otis was, at age 100, the Oldest Living MLB Player.

Both Bill Otis and George Davis came out of Williams College in 1912 to play for New York.
