Biographical Information[edit]

Bill Mack came out of Syracuse University in 1908 to play for the 1908 Chicago Cubs, who went on to win the 1908 World Series.

In Bill's two games with them, he pitched six innings with an ERA of 3.00, and at the plate went 2-for-3 with a triple. The hitting was good, but the ERA was higher than the team ERA that year of 2.14.

Cuban Baseball: A Statistical History says he pitched in Cuba, but at least some of the work credited to him belonged to George McQuillan.
