Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Bill Lohr played in the Los Angeles Dodgers system from 1961 to 1964. He hit .246/.360/.430 with 16 home runs and 71 RBI in 115 games for the Reno Silver Sox in 1961, then .296/.361/.472 in 64 games for Reno in 1962. With the Great Falls Electrics in 1963, he hit .283/.411/.494 with 17 home runs, 70 RBI and 84 walks (to 78 strikeouts) in 115 games and in 1964, between two teams, he hit .271/.401/.426 with 53 walks (to 46 Ks) in 85 games. Overall, he hit .272/.385/.457 with 47 home runs, 229 RBI, 225 walks and 233 strikeouts in 379 games over 4 seasons.
In 1983, he became a scout for the St. Louis Cardinals. He later worked for the Minnesota Twins, signing, among others, Kyle Aselton and Evan Meek.
