Biographical Information[edit]

Bill Kinsler played one game with the 1893 Giants under manager John Ward. He played six innings in the outfield, drew a walk and scored a run. He is most famous, however, for at one time being the oldest-living major leaguer. Although born only two years after the Civil War ended, he lived long enough to experience the Roger Maris / Mickey Mantle home run race in 1961.

Born in New York, NY, he had attended Manhattan College.
