Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Bill Cooper played in the Chicago White Sox system from 1967 to 1969. He was taken in the 9th round of the 1967 amateur draft, a couple picks after catcher Vic Correll and a couple picks ahead of pitcher Larry Fritz. He was 3-2 with a 2.95 ERA in 12 games (10 starts) for the GCL White Sox in 1968, but posted a 4.50 ERA in each of his other seasons, giving him a career line of 5-9, 3.83 in 36 games (20 starts).
