Biographical Information[edit]
Bill Carney had a long minor league career from 1895-1911, coming up to the majors for two games in 1904 with the Chicago Cubs. Playing right field in the bigs, Bill was both pitcher and outfielder for Spokane in 1903, going 6-11 while hitting .282. He later managed the Calgary Bronchos (1910), Rock Island Islanders (1911) and Grand Forks Flickertails (1913).
