Bill Brown (broadcaster)
Bill Brown was a longtime play-by-play announcer for the Houston Astros. He began with the club in 1987 and announced his retirement at the end of the 2016 season. He had previously worked for the Sports Time Cable Network and was the television voice of the Cincinnati Reds from 1976-1982. In 2004, he was inducted into the Texas Baseball Hall of Fame.
