Biographical Information[edit]
Bill Anderson pitched one game for the Louisville Colonels in 1889, earning the loss. The SABR biography of Scott Stratton indicates that Anderson came from a rich family and Stratton was interested in Bill's sister. Stratton arranged for Anderson to pitch the game for the Colonels and eventually married Bill's sister.
He was also known as Bill Robinson and is listed under that name in many reference books.
