Biographical Information

Bert Brown was a minor league infielder who played from 1905 to 1909. His career ended after he was sent to a mental asylum. He escaped from the asylum in March of 1910, and walked what is said to be some distance to his mother's house in the snow. Brown broke into the house and committed suicide by hanging himself.
