Biographical Information[edit]
Bert Bradford starred for the Nicaraguan national team in the 1948 Amateur World Series and 1950 Central American and Caribbean Games. He hit .327 in the 1950 Amateur World Series. He starred in the 1951 Amateur World Series, leading the event in average (.481) and hits (25); despite his efforts, Nicaragua did not make it to the final round. He also played in the 1951 Pan American Games. He hit .268/.335/.316 in 66 games for the 1952 Mexicali Eagles, fielding .876 at 3B (his main position). That was his lone action in the minor leagues.
