When the Canadian League was revived in 1911, the Berlin Green Sox were the class of the circuit. They were in first place from opening day through the end of the year. The team was based in Berlin, ON (now known as Kitchener, ON) and went 70-40. The Green Sox had 5 of the league's 16 .300 hitters that season. The next year they were replaced by the Berlin Busy Bees.
