Biographical Information

Ben Leid has been on the British national team.

He hit .266/.395/.340 in junior college. In the 2021 U23 European Championship, he was 3-for-15 with a homer. He was 2-for-3 in 2022 as a transfer student at Central Washington. He hit .339/.405/.484 in 2023, winning All-Great Northwest Athletic Conference honors.

During the 2023 U23 European Championship, he batted .286/.444/.357 for the Brits. He was with their senior team by the 2023 European Championship, starting in right all six games. He struck out against Sweden's Ben Johnson his first time up. His first hit was a single off Hungary's Peter Gornik; he had three runs that day. He was at .300/.423/.350 with six runs in six games for those Euros as Britain tied their best finish ever (second place).

Leid produced at a .425/.490/.680 clip with 46 RBI in 47 games as a college senior, leading the GNAC in average and winning conference player of the year honors.
