Biographical Information[edit]
Wilbert "Barney" Wolfe pitched four years in the majors, appearing with the New York Highlanders and the Washington Senators. The Highlanders were an above-average team while the Senators were well under .500. Barney went 21-39, although his ERA was not too far below average.
He had been with the Kansas City Blues in 1902, leading the team in innings pitched.
