Babe & Me

Babe & Me is the third book in the Baseball Card Adventures series by Dan Gutman. Joe Stoshack travels with his father to see Babe Ruth in game 3 of the 1932 World Series and find out if Babe did call his shot. The book leaves us with the same ambiguous ending as in real life. Also in the story, Stoshack's father is trying get-rich schemes, though he shows redeeming character traits as well, trying to warn Franklin Roosevelt about the Holocaust.
