The Austrian Empire is a former country of Europe, that lasted from after the Napoleonic Wars until it became Austria-Hungary in 1867. It included what is present day Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and parts of other neighboring countries. Its capital was Vienna. John Stedronsky was born here.
