Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Austin Prott played in independent baseball from 2014 to 2015 and a handful of games in 2017 and 2018.

After hitting .333/.460/.420 with 50 hits in 53 games for Chico State University in 2013, he joined the Alpine Cowboys for 2014 to hit .360/.439/.571 with 10 home runs, 65 RBI and 59 runs scored in 66 games. He played for the Lake Erie Crushers of the Frontier League in 2015, hitting .270/.358/.352 with 2 home runs, 18 RBI and 28 runs scored in 67 games. After not playing in 2016, he appeared in a single game for Alpine in 2017 and 2 games for the same club in 2018. He also managed the team those years, leading them to a 48-18, 1st-place finish and a playoff berth in the former and a 48-15, 1st-place finish and a trip to the league finals in the latter. They lost in the finals to the Bakersfield Train Robbers.

He now serves as a bartender in Sioux City, IA.
