Biographical Information

Austin Meine played college ball at the schools noted above and graduated from Lindenwood University in 2017 with a degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. After graduating he immediately joined Premier Pitching Performance (P3) as an intern and worked his way up to Director of Pitching in 2019. Meine left P3 in 2021 to take a Pitching Coordinator position with the University of North Carolina at Charlotte 49ers. He stayed in this role only six months before being promoted to pitching coach. He remained the 49ers pitching coach through the 2022 college season. Meine spent two seasons with Charlotte and helped their pitchers post the two highest single-season strikeout totals in program history.

According to Meine's LinkedIn page, the Baltimore Orioles hired him in September, 2022 as a pitching coach though his hiring wasn't officially announced until February, 2023. He was the pitching coach for the Aberdeen IronBirds in 2023 where he helped Aberdeen post the third-lowest ERA (3.81) and second-most strikeouts (1,363) across the South Atlantic League. In 2024 Meine moved up to the Bowie Baysox as their pitching coach.
