Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Austin Fleet began his professional career in 2010.

He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 39th round of the 2005 amateur draft, but opted not to sign a contract. He was then taken by the San Francisco Giants in the 16th round of the 2010 amateur draft (the scout was Jeremy Cleveland) and inked a deal.

He began his career with a 2.65 ERA and a 11.5 K/9 IP ratio in 51 innings for the AZL Giants. He reached Triple-A for the first time in 2013 and went 1-5 with a 3.52 ERA in 61 1/3 innings in a partial season with the Fresno Grizzlies. Back at Double-A for most of 2014, he was 8-1 with a 2.78 ERA in 97 frames for the Richmond Flying Squirrels.

He began 2015 with the Sacramento River Cats, the Giants' new Triple-A squad.
