Dove was 0-1 with a 12.71 ERA for South Africa in the 2000 Olympics, allowing 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings; he took the loss to Japan. He gave up 15 hits in 30 at-bats in the 2001 Baseball World Cup with 12 runs in 5 2/3 innings. He had South Africa's second-worst ERA in the event at 19.06, after Liall Mauritz.
