Biographical Information

Asahi Satoh played for Toshiba in the industrial leagues after college. He made the Japanese national team for the 2017 Asian Championship. He hit .400/.429/.500 with one RBI and four runs in five games for Japan, handling 7 putouts in the outfield. In the Gold Medal Game, he hit 9th and played center, going 0 for 3 and catching three balls before Kazuki Kamizato replaced him in a 6-1 win over Taiwan.
