Biographical Information[edit]
Arthur "Digger" Brown played for the Aston Villa baseball club of the National League of Baseball of Great Britain in 1890. He also played for a soccer team by the same name in the 1870s and 1880s. Supposedly, he fell ill in 1886, causing him to retire from soccer, yet he was obviously still playing sports despite this because of his time playing baseball four years after the fact.
