Biographical Information[edit]
The nephew of George Stallings, Art Bues played 16 games in the majors. With the 1914 Cubs, he backed up Heinie Zimmerman and Tommy Leach at third base. His minor league career was from 1907-1920 with a peak in 1911 when he hit .352 for Seattle with 27 home runs. His later career was mostly in the International League and American Association. He died in Whitefish Bay, WI, a bit north of Milwaukee (where he had been born).
