Biographical Information[edit]

Anthony Sandstrom played briefly in the minor leagues.

Sandstrom played baseball and football in high school, hitting .418 as a junior with 7 home runs. As a freshman in college, he batted .178/.275/.200. In his sophomore season, he started and hit .232/.291/.351 as one of the regular infielders. During his junior year, he batted .169/.239/.246. In 2007, he hit .235/.350/.286 for two teams in the South Coast League. He played in Italy's Serie A2 in 2008. In 2009, he joined RCH in the Netherlands, replacing Petr Baroch at shortstop. He debuted on April 23, going 0 for 3 with three strikeouts against Rob Cordemans and making an error at shortstop.
