Anthony Coromato debuted in the Italian Baseball League in 2010.

Coromato made two trips to the Division III College World Series while at SUNY Cortland. He came to Italy in 2009 and dominated for Codogno of Serie A2, hitting .413/.503/.623 with 37 runs in 35 games. He moved up to Grosseto in 2010 and did well enough to win a spot on Italy's preliminary 28-man roster for the 2010 European Championship; he had opened Italian citizenship in '09. Coromato was one of the final Italian cuts.
