Team History[edit]
The 2005 Mexican League champions, the Angelopolis Tigers won the pennant without having a single foreign player on their squad. The team was founded in 1955 and won pennants that season, in 1960, 1965, 1966, 1992, 1997, 2000 and 2001. Formerly based in Mexico City (as the Mexico City Tigers for most of their existence), the team moved to Puebla in 2002. After five years in Puebla and competing with the Puebla Parrots, they moved to Cancun, Quintana Roo in 2007 to become the Quintana Roo Tigers.
