Biographical Information[edit]
Angel Rosario played for the DSL Diamondbacks in 2006. He appeared in five games, four as a catcher and one at shortstop. The latter game was a 13 inning affair.
A decade after completing his minor league career, Rosario joined the Chicago White Sox organization as a coach and manager. According to his LinkedIn page, he coached in the White Sox organization in 2017, but no details are available. In 2018 he was a coach for the DSL White Sox. He took over the club as manager in 2019 and was slated to return in 2020 before the minor league season was canceled due to COVID-19. When the White Sox announced their coaching staff for 2021, he again was designated to manage in the DSL, but ended up serving as the bench coach for the ACL White Sox. Rosario moved to the manager's role with the DSL White Sox in 2022 while simultaneously serving as a catching coordinator. He returned to the ACL White Sox as fundamentals coach in 2023. Rosario was bench coach of the Birmingham Barons in 2024.
Rosario has also worked as a coach in the Dominican League. He started the 2022/2023 season as the quality control coach for the Toros del Este. Rosario's role changed to assistant quality control coach on October 31st amidst a staff shakeup. In 2024/2025 he is scheduled to be the quality control coach for the Estrellas Orientales.
