Biographical Information[edit]
Andy Lapihuska pitched four seasons from 1941 to 1946, two in the major leagues (1942-1943) and four in the minors, losing two years to the military. He served in the United States Army for two years during World War II (1944-1945) (N&C).
He had two cups of coffee for the Philadelphia Blue Jays in 1942 and 1943 and was 31-43 in the minors. He had been signed as a free agent by Jocko Collins.
He died at age 73 in Millville, NJ.
