Biographical Information

Andy Korenek was a scout for the San Francisco Giants (1982-1991) and New York Mets (1992-1993) then became a history teacher at Truitt Middle School. As a scout, he signed Dennis Cook, Russ Swan and Ted Wood. His brother Tom Korenek has also been a scout.
