Biographical Information[edit]
Andy Fleischacker was head coach of the Cologne Cardinals in 1998. He then worked as pitching coach at Gibbs High School, where one of his students was Boof Bonser. He returned to Europe in 2000 as a player-coach for the Zurich Challengers in Switzerland. He was with them through 2002. He was an assistant coach at Greensboro College from 2003-2006. In 2007-2008, he coached the Zurich Challengers once more. He was an assistant at Lake Erie College for the 2008-2009 season. For 2009, he managed the Solingen Alligators. He has also been involved with baseball clubs in Austria and Italy. He was manager of the Swiss national team, when they finished second in their pool at the 2011 European Championship Qualifiers.
