Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Andy Bottin played three seasons (1967-1968, 1971) in the low minors for the New York Yankees. He missed 1969-1970 due to service in the Vietnam War. Bottin hit .190/.347/.310 in 1971 for Oneonta yet his 2008 Mariners Media Guide bio claims he was named team MVP that year, which seems unlikely. The bio also claims he made it to AAA, when no other source lists him as playing above A ball.
Bottin was a policeman in Seattle, WA for 20 years. He coached the Everett AquaSox from 1995-2001. In 2008, he made his managerial debut. Bottin was a coach for the AZL Mariners in 2010-2013, Everett in 2014, AZL Mariners again in 2015-2016, and Everett again in 2017.
