Andrey Egorov

From BR Bullpen

Andrey Egorov pitched for the Ukrainian national team in their first European Championship game, at the 1995 European Championship. Relieving Sergey Makarov in the end of a mercy rule loss to the powerful Dutch national team, he allowed three hits and three runs (one earned) while retiring none; he did strike out one so there must have been a dropped strike three or wild pitch on strike three. His other game, he replaced Gennadi Mahno in the 4th versus Sweden and worked one inning (4 H, 3 BB, 7 R, 2 ER) before Alexandre Baikov relieved.
