Biographical Information

Andrew Norman was captain of the Bothasig Baseball Club when he made the South African national team for the 2019 Europe/Africa Olympic Qualifier. He backed up Kyron Bibis in LF and Benjamin Smith in center field. In his first at-bat, he singled off Czechia's Boris Bokaj to score Brett Willemburg with the only South African run that day. He went 0 for 5 the rest of the event. Defensively, he had five putouts and no errors.
