Andrew McQuade

Biographical Information[edit]

Andrew McQuade was a pitcher who played for the Unions of Lansingburgh of the National Association of Base Ball Players (NABBP) in 1866. He was also apparently captain of the first Lansingburgh Nine. He was a teammate of Bill Craver, Steve King, and Bub McAtee during his time there. He died later that year after his carriage was struck by a train. He is misidentified in some sources under the name "Anthony McQuide."
