Biographical Information[edit]
Andrew Gold earned both bachelor's and master's degrees in Business Analytics from the University of Miami. While at Miami he worked with the Hurricanes baseball team as their Head Analytics Coordinator.
The Chicago Cubs hired Gold in 2022 to serve as the development coach for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. Similar to 2022 Tennessee Smokies development coach Walker Gentz, his background is analytics and they both worked as student managers with the baseball team in college.
