Biographical Information

Walker Gentz attended the above universities and completed a bachelor's degree in computer science at St. Ambrose University in 2021. He worked as a baseball student manager with both the University of Iowa Hawkeyes (2017-2019) and the St. Ambrose Fighting Bees (2021). At the latter he served as the team's lead data analyst.

The Chicago Cubs hired Gentz in 2022 to work as a development coach with the Tennessee Smokies.
