Biographical Information[edit]
Andrew Cresci played club baseball at Sacred Heart University and graduated with a degree in Sports Management in 2014. He continued his education at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy where he earned a second bachelor's degree in History & Classical Studies. During his final year in Italy (2017) Cresci played for the S.S. Lazio Baseball Club, which was in Italy's second division that year.
Since finishing his studies at Sacred Heart, Cresci has worked in a number of baseball-related jobs which are detailed on his LinkedIn page. These include working as the Director of Baseball Operations for the Koa Sports League (youth travel baseball) from 2018 to April, 2020 and working for MLB Advanced Media as a copywriter and highlights editor in 2015=2016. Cresci was the hitting coach for the Central Lakes College Raiders during the 2021 season. He then spent several months as a hitting trainer with Driveline Baseball.
The Houston Astros hired Cresci as hitting coach of the FCL Astros Orange in 2022. He continued to coach hitters for the FCL Astros in 2023 and Fayetteville Woodpeckers in 2024.
