Biographical Information[edit]
André Lachance was the manager for the Canada women's national baseball team at the 2015 Pan American Games, 2014 Women's Baseball World Cup, 2012 Women's Baseball World Cup, 2010 Women's Baseball World Cup, 2008 Women's Baseball World Cup, the 2006 Women's Baseball World Cup and the 2004 Women's Baseball World Cup. Canada won the Silver Medal in 2008 and 2015 and the Bronze in 2004, 2006, 2012. He is also the manager of baseball operations with Baseball Canada as well as a professor at University of Ottawa where he teaches coaching and sports psychology at the school of human kinetics. He was the recipient of the 2007 Part-Time Professor of the Year Award. He graduated from Laval University in Human Kinetics and also also studied at the Manuel Fajardo Sports Institute in Havana, Cuba where he worked with the top coaches and athletes from Cuba.
