Anderson Muramatsu played for the Brazilian national team.

He hit .391/.407/.522 and fielded .895 at third in the 2002 World Junior Championship. In the 2002 Intercontinental Cup, he went 0 for 1 and had one assist while backing up Marcos Tsutsumi at third base. He was then with Brazil for the 2003 Pan American Games. In the 2003 Baseball World Cup, he backed up Estevão Sato, going 0 for 2 and making an error in his lone chance in the field.
