Biographical Information[edit]
Amber Dammers was a two-way player for the Netherlands in the 2012 Women's Baseball World Cup. She hit .412/.565/.529 as a RF-CF, with a team-high six walks and five runs (tied for second on the team, one behind Gallieth Haaker). For the event, she tied for 9th in walks. Her pitching was not as good as she gave up 20 hits and 16 runs in 7 innings in losing to Japan and Cuba. She tied Loudelis Moreno, Donna Hartman, Tzu-Hui Pan and Yanet Martinez for second in the Cup in losses, one behind Yaima Ramos. In the 7th/8th place game, she starred, going 2 for 3 with a walk, double and two RBI as the Netherlands beat Cuba 10-8 to avoid last place.
