The Allentown Red Sox played at Max Hess Stadium, which was named Breadon Field from 1948-58. The stadium closed in 1960 and was demolished five years later. The site became the home of the Lehigh Valley Mall in 1976. During the days of the Red Sox, you could purchase tickets to see a game for $1.50.
